" Shadows of Prophesy "

Shadows of prophesy
casting the keys and weeping
howling unbuckling shields
beating wings eyelids over the deep
as a memorable fancy indeed
lines written in early spring
like nature-linked periwinkle
breezy budding twigs bees buzzing
upwards into summer green
sheep bleating candid appeals
" Oh memory!" never questioning
grave rest fresh wreathing
iron wheels human creatures
strangers speaking,
"Come! Rest with me!"
grief has made us "unbelieving"
as sweet angelic slips of a thing
passing into a dream...
